Pay Your Admission At The Door

Hello everyone I’m back again with some interesting rumors I have been burning on for a few weeks. Not to long ago my Church had one the most successful Bible Schools I have ever been a part of and during our Bible school I heard of some local Churches right in my home town that were charging a fee for children of their own congregation to come to Bible School. Now I hope I don’t really have to tell you how many ways this is wrong but you know I am going to anyway. First and for most I will compare it to your and mine admission into Heaven there’s no charge no fee the price has already been paid by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who shed his blood on Calvary’s Cross to pay for our sins to allow us a path to eternal life in the sinless glory of Heaven. So why in the world would a church require anyone to pay for something that should be given freely?????? By that I mean the chance for a person to learn and hear the word of God young, old, rich or poor!!! To have the Holy Spirit convict there heart of their sins the chance for a person to except what is freely given . Bible School in my eyes is an outreach to the community to the lost, for them to be able to come in and learn what God can do for them, to charge admission for that is an insult to the word of God. The way I see it a lost man is already skeptical of what the Church has to offer him. Every little thing we do is under extreme scrutiny already so to invite him into a Church and then tell him to learn what we have to offer you’re going to have to pay for it, well you might as well forget it you just drove him away from any chance you had and your probably never going to get it back. Ok Ok Ok it is just a rumor I heard but just the thought of it makes me sick to my stomach, it’s just ridicules. On top of all this the reason I heard that this Church or Churches are charging admission for Bible School is the recession yea the recession. They said that if they had lets say 200 kids and or people sign up and bought all the supplies and food and only 100 showed up then they would be out all that money. Again I am getting sick to my stomach cause the way I see it let’s just say that the CHURCH were to put their trust in God and He will take care of the rest, oh my gosh did he just say what I think he said that The Church should put all situations in God’s hands, who ever heard of such a thing. Furthermore it’s never ever ever lost money for a church to witness to the lost and have just one person just one get saved, whatever sacrifices any Church has to make in this kind of situation is exactly what they are here for to stand for Jesus no matter what the cost. Now don’t get me wrong I am not for any church going out and blowing what the Lord has blessed them with but I sure don’t see witnessing and wining souls as a waist of anything. Boy I sure am glad there aren’t any recessions in Heaven.

Corinthians 2

And I, brethren, when I came to you declaring unto you the testimony of God, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom.

For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ and Him crucified.

And I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling.

And my speech and my preaching were not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,

that your faith should not stand on the wisdom of man, but on the power of God.

However, we speak wisdom among those who are perfect, yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, who are coming to nought.

But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the world for our glory --

wisdom which none of the princes of this world knew; for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory.

But as it is written: "Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him."

But God hath revealed them unto us by His Spirit. For the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so no man knoweth the things of God, but the Spirit of God.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God, that we might know the things that are freely given to us by God.

These things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged by no man. "For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct Him?" But we have the mind of Christ.
